Galt Toys asked 650 school children, aged 6 – 12 years, across the UK for one Royal Proclamation they’d like to make legislative if they were King or Queen for a day! We received a whole heap of weird and wonderful answers and have chosen the most frequently reported to be written up into Galt Toys Alternative Queen’s Speech.
Reported by Kizzy, aka Princess Galt:
Thanks for watching. Remember to share with friends and family.
Over the last few months we have been on the search forfour lucky children to be our official toy testers, star on the website and win £250 worth of toys for the family! Our toy development judges have viewed all the wonderful entries and have now made their final decision. And the winners are….
Drum roll please….
Finley Wakefield, aged 10 months from Stevenage who won the Baby Galt category; Dexter Hughes, aged 2 from Yorkshire who will be stepping into the shoes of Professor Galt; Noah Warrilow, aged 3 from Oxford who will be donning the beret of Leonardo DiGaltci, and Kizzy McDonald aged 9 from Shropshire who will be crowned Princess Galt.
We’d like to say a MASSIVE ‘thank you’ to all the parents who entered their child into the competition; we had some fantastic entries which made the judging very difficult and had the Galt team in stitches!
A big congratulations to our four lucky winners, who are the real toy testers now:
We have been on the search for the next Professor Galt, Leonardo DiGaltchi, Princess Galt and Baby Galt, to create Team Galt, who will star on our website and test all our TOYS! And with only four weeks (and technically 5 days) to go until the competition closes we thought it would be a good time to show off some of the fab entries we have received:
Noah from Oxford, perhaps the next Leonardo DiGaltchi
Kayleigh from Luton, showing off her singing skills
William from Hampshire, perhaps the next Professor Galt with his pots of slime
Charlotte from Derby, perfecting her drumming skills
If your child fancies becoming the Face of Galt and winning £250 worth of Galt Toys, simply share a video of your child dancing, singing or telling a silly joke or a funny fact.
Upload your child’s funniest video to YouTube, title it ’Face of Galt’ and tag it with your child’s name & location. Your video should be no more than 2 minutes long and if you’re stuck for ideas check out our hints and tips!
We’ll then stream our favourites to the Face of Galt YouTube channel, which will appear on our Facebook page.
The competition is open to children aged between 3 months to 12 year olds and will close 18th December 2011. Unfortunately children over the age of 12 by 18th December 2011 will not be eligible for entry.
All judging will be conducted by Galt’s team of toy developers. So if you think your child has got what it takes to make the Galt team laugh, or impress them with your child’s make and do skills, then please go to www.galttoys.com/faceofgalt for full details on how to enter.
