Happy Easter Holidays

With the UK weather teasing you with a few warm days then April showers and in some places SNOW…You might be wondering how to keep the children entertained over the Easter holidays! Don’t worry we have masses of fun activities to share with you!

The Galt Toys art team has designed three egg-cellent Easter cards for your children to get creative with – simply download the patterns for FREE via our Activity Zone and follow the instructions. Encourage your children to get imaginative by adding extra decorations such as, foil, yellow feathers, and tissue paper.

We also designed an egg-tastistic colouring download which will keep the children amused with seven bunnies and plenty of Easter eggs waiting to be coloured in – once again, simply download the Easter colouring sheet for FREE via the Activity Zone.

If your child does make their own Easter cards or has a go at the colouring sheet, we’d love to see the end results – please upload your Easter pics to our Facebook page and we’ll give them a big shout out!

We also have some fantastic Art and Craft products on the site from finger paints to sponge painting, modeling clay and chunky crayons -something for everyone, to keep little hands and minds entertained. After all there’s more to this time of year than just eating chocolate eggs!

Get green fingered this spring time with our cool new Grow-A-Heads. Just add water and watch them grow!

After a few days, green hair will start to appear. Why not create your own fun hair styles? The Grow-A-Head is a simple yet effective first step towards gardening, allowing children to grow their own unique wild-haired creatures!

Whatever you are up to this Easter – hope you have a ‘hopping’ time!

A Hopping Good Time – Easter Holidays

Well, the Easter Holidays have arrived and thankfully so has the good weather. This is a great time to get the kids outside for some Eggtivities – I’m sure many of you are planning your own Easter egg hunt, but what about the Easter bonnets?

Love them, or loathe them, Easter bonnets are a fixture in the Easter calendar! So if you are faced with the challenge of making your own, we have a quick creative suggestion for you and your kids to get artistic with….

Egg-Head Bonnet: inflate a balloon and then using papier mache (made from pieces of newspaper dipped in glue) cover the top part of the balloon to create an egg shape. When dry, you will have a hard but lightweight model to decorate with paint, feathers and tissue paper for that Easter look!

Make your very own Easter Cards

We have also designed three eggcellent Easter cards for your kids to get creative with – simply download the patterns for FREE via our Activity Zone and follow the instructions. Encourage your kids to get imaginative by adding foil, tissue paper (lots of yellow!), ribbons and feathers! If you are making your own cards and Easter bonnets we’d love to see the end results – please upload your Easter pics to our Facebook page.

Although the fine weather is set to continue, come rain or shine we have the perfect game to keep your kids entertain for hours. Our mini computer game – Catch the Eggs will keep the kids (and you) entertained for hours.

So come on…help the bunnies catch the falling eggs into their baskets, so they don’t miss out on their Easter treats!
